Facebook is training AI to learn everything about your life

First person video used to take notes on your non digital life A new Facebook project is attempting to train AI to watch and understand everything you do. The AI software project known as Ego4D is designed to work with future iterations of Facebook’s AR glasses and uses ML software to analyse first person video so it can answer questions like “where did I leave my keys?”. The main tasks Facebook hopes AI will be able to pin down are episodic memory, forecasting, semantic identification of actions/ movement, recording, and AR enhancements.
