Guessing songs for fun has essentially found its way, like many things, into the annals of history thanks to an internet connected computer in your pocket that provides instant knowledge on almost any subject. Thankfully, there’s also an app for that. Songpop offers an AI, online, and local version of the traditional “guess this track” game – giving you points based on how quickly you answered against your opponents. There are plenty of music packs across the modern history of music, including cross-genre and ‘hits’. Songpop Party is the paid version of the free app of the same name, except this subscription version has removed all the IAP that unlocked particular modes or music packs, as well as adding an integration to Apple Music that allows you to make playlists from tracks you guessed correctly. It’s a great little 10-minute distraction both online and with friends.
