Subscription (Netflix) iOS/Android IDLE OR DULL?

Dungeon Dwarves is the latest addition to the gamut of very erratically chosen mobile games that come included with a Netflix subscription. Unlike the previous month’s collaboration with League of Legends, Dungeon Dwarves is an especially generic idle game with very little in its favour.

Like most subscription mobile games, there are no IAP to slow down progress but there’s also very little of anything that makes up an interesting or challenging experience. Your five dwarves simply keep smashing and attacking bricks and enemies as you slowly upgrade them, eventually hitting a boss who resets the whole thing, and you start over.

Loot and equipment carry through but the tedium and repetition of largely the same boss and enemies over and over with slightly different biomes gets old extremely fast. After two-to-three hours of play I couldn’t even tell the difference between what I was (not) doing from the beginning.
