Tesla fast tracks humanoid production

Tesla is breaking new ground by laying out its plans for creating a humanoid robot called Optimus. Tesla CEO Elon Musk suggested recently that the project, which was formerly known as the Tesla Bot, could hit production as soon as next year. The Optimus humanoid is intended to reduce labour shortages, like the ones Musk loudly opposed when California enforced Covid lockdowns. We guess if he builds a24/7 robot workforce he’ll never have to halt production again.
