Linda’s Ed’s letter (Issue 11) about favourite old movies reminded me of my kids when they were on school holidays. All they wanted to do was play the PS3 and the bickering drove me nuts. One day there was pushing and shoving and they broke my favourite vase. It was the last straw. I made them all sit quietly to watch a DVD I had with episodes of the Beverly Hillbillies on it. They loved it so much I had to scour the shops looking for all the episodes. They love Gilligan’s Island as well. So much family fun together. They sure don’t make TV shows like they used to.

My daughter encourages her 13-month-old daughter Londyn to keep her sunnies on during sunny days. Londyn thinks she and her daddy are really cool. Julie Zammit, Roxburgh Park, Vic
