Be kind

I was at my local shops and chatting to a mother with a baby. I commented that her bub looked just like her. Suddenly, she started crying. I wasn’t taken aback at first, but then she explained that her daughter was adopted. ‘Those are the nicest words I ever heard,’ she told me. It made me think how easy it is to make someone’s day.

My daughter Lillian, 11, had to go to hospital recently after we found out that she had four fused molars that needed to be removed. Here is a picture of her waiting patiently for her surgery. She is so brave. Stephanie Peck, Craigieburn, Vic
