This old favourite still holds its own among all the new fads. The humble star jump, or jumping jack, gets your heart pumping, lungs working hard and all the muscles in your body engaged. If jumping is too much for your knees and ankles, step to the side with one leg while sweeping your arms out to the sides then above your head, then reverse the move back to a straightst­anding position and repeat.
