TWIN - CREDIBLE

-

Mum-of-two, Beth Bamford, 21, woke in the middle of the night on February 21 this year, needing the toilet.

Leaving her partner Andy Morris, 22, sleeping, Beth went to the bathroom.

Within minutes, Beth had given birth to a baby!

In shock – and unable to get up to wake Andy – Beth called emergency services for help.

The operator was talking her through delivering the placenta when a second baby entered the world.

‘The second one wasn’t breathing because she was breech,’ Beth told the Mirror. Under guidance from the emergency operator, Beth gave the bub a little shake and she took her first breath.

‘Andy eventually woke up and walked into the bathroom and just looked at me,’ Beth said. ‘He went to his mum’s bedroom and said, “Beth’s got two babies in the bathroom.”’

Little Willow weighed 2.5 kilos and Freya 2.3 kilos.

With their older daughters, Elsa-Mae, three, and Alivia, two, the young couple were stunned to suddenly go from a family of four to six – especially since

Beth hadn’t even considered the possibility that she was pregnant!

She’d still been having periods and just thought she’d put on a little weight.

‘It’s a big shock,’ Beth admitted. ‘But a nice surprise.’
