Do not try the ‘Coke cure’ yourself as it must be done under medical supervision. Instead, ask them to cough. If coughing doesn’t remove the blockage, call Triple-0. Give five sharp blows between the shoulder blades with the heel of your hand. If the patient is blue, limp or unconscious begin CPR.
