Christmas CRIMS

SINISTERSANTA& HISEVILELF

-

Afew weeks before Christmas in 2010, two men, one dressed as Santa and the other supposedly carrying a box of gifts, approached security

guards at an office block saying they were there to deliver presents to the staff.

Perhaps wanting to help spread Christmas cheer, the usually strict guards waved them through. Once inside, the duo told staff to go into the boardroom where they’d hand out the gifts.

Instead, sinister Santa and his evil elf produced guns and locked the staff in, before robbing the accounts department of $21,000.

‘I was quite scared,’ a staff member told the Courier Mail. ‘We could not see one of their faces because he had a Santa hat and beard on, but the other guy was dressed normally. We all were really shocked by this.’

The fancy-dress fugitives calmly walked out again, past the security guards, escaping with the cash.

There’s no word on whether Santa and his sidekick were caught, but you can bet the security guards will be checking their visitor list twice from now on!
