Flying high on a broomstick might be the dream of many young witches and wizards, but people can still enjoy the magical world’s most favourite sport.
The fourth Quidditch World Cup was held in Italy in June this year.
Australia’s Dropbears tried to defend their 2016 victory, and Kiwi team the Black Brooms took part for the first time. Players must have a broomstick between their legs as they run around a pitch.
With more than 30 Quidditch teams in Australia and more than 50 players in New Zealand, its popularity is soaring.
