Superstitions

In Linda’s Ed’s letter, issue 44, she discussed people’s superstitions. My mum always used to say it was bad luck to have clothes hanging on the line on New Year’s Day. Or you’ll have piles of washing to do all year. Although I’m sceptical, as there always seems to be plenty of washing anyway, I make sure my line is empty every new year.
