These cute felt Christmas decorations are sew easy to make!

Instructions

1 Draw your shapes onto paper and cut with paper scissors.

2 Pin your templates onto felt and then cut out the shapes using fabric scissors.

3 Using embroidery thread, stitch around the edges of each shape. We used blanket stitch, over stitch and chain stitch.

4 Cut leather thonging to desired lengths. Thread bells and beads onto cords. Make a hole in each decoration with a hole punch and thread leather cord onto each decoration, then tie (use images as a guide).

5 Hang decorations on your Christmas tree if desired using split rings or tree hooks. NB: To make padded ornaments, substitute the 3mm sheet felt for 2 sheets of standard felt. Cut 2 of each shape, stitch together leaving an opening and fill with toy stuffing. Continue with stitching and decorating.
