Dear that’s life!

We always go all out when it’s our turn to host the family Christmas lunch – we cook from scratch and decorate the table to make it all really special. But my siblings have taken to serving up basic salads and cold meats on plastic plates, often eaten off our laps! We’re due to host again this year but I’m not sure I can be bothered as our hard work seems to go unnoticed. Then again, I really enjoy catching up with the f amily. What would you do? – Lyn *
