Pita crisps
Save cash by making your own pita crisps – brush Lebanese bread all over with a little olive oil mixed with crushed garlic. Season with sea salt and pepper and sprinkle over seeds (either nigella, caraway or fennel). Cook in a moderately slow oven (160°C) for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until light golden and crisp. Cool and break into large pieces. Store in an airtight container for a week.
