O COME ALL YE UNFAITHFUL!

Christmas is supposed to be a time of joy and togetherness, but these people were caught cheating…

-

Catherine Coulthard, and her husband Jamie, both 42, got married two years after meeting online in 2007.

‘Friends referred to us as the perfect couple,’ Catherine told The Sun newspaper.

In 2011, Jamie’s office Christmas party was being held in a hotel not far from their house.

Catherine offered to pick him up afterwards, but he said he’d booked himself a room to save her the trouble.

They enjoyed Christmas Day together, then New Year’s Eve was spent at home with her kids.

But a few weeks later Jamie dropped a bombshell – he wanted a divorce.

Frustrated by his refusal to explain, a heartbroken Catherine searched through his emails for answers.

‘There was email after email from a young woman that he worked with,’ Catherine says.

The emails revealed the pair had spent the night of the Christmas party together.

Catherine and Jamie divorced on the grounds of infidelity, and Catherine said it would be a long time before she could trust anyone again.

‘Jamie was really looking forward to his work Christmas party,’ she said.

‘And now I know why.’
