As a survivor of child sexual abuse by multiple predators, I want to thank you for sharing the story of Karen, ‘Inside the mind of a child sex predator’ in issue 46. As an adult I have been asked ‘What were you doing to make it keep happening?’. But as forensic phsychologist Karen Owens pointed out, a predator will look for a vulnerable child or one who’s been abused before. I hope any parent reading this article has learnt to trust their instincts.
