Chill all drinks, in­clud­ing the rum be­fore you start.

Make a dou­ble quan­tity of ice cubes in case you have to re­fill the punch bowl.

Ice cubes can be made up to one week ahead. Once frozen, wrap ice cube trays in plas­tic wrap and re­turn to freezer.

Add fresh rasp­ber­ries to ice cubes for ex­tra flavour and vi­brant colour. For a non-al­co­holic punch,

omit the rum.
