When Jake fell ill, it happened like lightning.

Christmas Day he was fine, and on Boxing Day we were being told he probably wouldn’t pull through. While he was sick, my family and I were given antibiotics in case we had the bug too.

It was a terrifying time, but thankfully Jake is here to tell the tale.
