Although she had noth­ing to do with the tragic mur­ders, the in­ter­net searches of Chris Watts’ mis­tress Ni­chol Kessinger also at­tracted me­dia at­ten­tion.

Ap­par­ently re­al­is­ing her like­ness to Am­ber Frey, the mis­tress of a man who mur­dered his wife and un­born child, Ni­chol be­gan googling that case.

As well as look­ing up did peo­ple hate Am­ber Frey?, Ni­chol re­searched how much money Frey made in her book deal and her net worth.

Like Chris, the man Am­ber had an af­fair with, Scott Peter­son, mur­dered his wife Laci who was eight months preg­nant with their son Con­nor.

Am­ber Frey came for­ward to say she had been dat­ing Scott and po­lice used her, wear­ing a wire, to try and get in­for­ma­tion or a con­fes­sion from Scott.

In 2004, Scott was found guilty of mur­der and sen­tenced to death. He still re­mains on death row to­day.

Af­ter tes­ti­fy­ing at his trial, Am­ber wrote a book, Wit­ness, about their deadly af­fair.
