MILO CHOC PEANUT SLICE

MAKES 24 PIECES

PREP AND COOK: 15 MINS 200g block dark cooking

chocolate, finely chopped

200g block milk cooking

chocolate, finely chopped

395g can sweetened condensed

milk

50g butter, chopped

180g packet Peanut M&M’s 4 cups Milo cereal

1 Grease an 18cm x 28cm rectangula­r slice pan. Line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 2cm above pan edges.

2 Place dark and milk chocolate into a large bowl. 3 Stir condensed milk and butter in a small saucepan over a medium to low heat until butter is melted and mixture is hot (do not boil). Pour over chocolate. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth. Cool for 15 minutes.

4 Add M&M’s and 3 cups of the cereal to chocolate mixture. Stir until well combined.

5 Press evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining cereal. Gently press into the top of mixture with clean hands. Refrigerat­e for about 3 hours, or until firm.

6 Lift slice from pan onto a chopping board. Cut into pieces.
