Freddy’s friendship

As winter hit in Canada, a monarch butterfly was left behind after the rest migrated to a warmer spot. So, critter lover Debbie Tonner opened her home to the orange winged creature, naming him Freddy and keeping him warm indoors. Little did she know that the pair would become the best of friends. Freddy isn’t afraid to rest on Debbie and when he flutters his wings, Debbie says it reminds her of a dog wagging its tail. After meals of water mixed with honey over a slice of warm banana, Freddy sometimes falls asleep by the window, attracting the attention of neighbours.
