THE BEAR HUG PROJECT
Thinking back to when he was in fourth grade, Noel Schoessow, 51, vividly remembers having eye surgery and how scary it was being in hospital. To help him through his stay, his family gave him a stuffed toy named Fido. Never forgetting the feeling of comfort Fido gave him, Noel started the non-profit organisation called
The Bear Hug Project to provide hospitalised children with cuddly bears. With the help of donations, Noel has given more than 3000 children in his state of Wisconsin, US, a bear!
