SUCKER FOR ROO

In an effort to stop a cheeky joey from sucking her toes, the Australian Reptile Park got creative.

Frankie the kangaroo’s bad habit of sucking her tootsies led to a sore spot. To combat the issue, quick-thinking keepers found a pair of breathable socks that fitted the 10-month-old perfectly. Frankie is still able to hop and play like any other kangaroo and once she’s healed, the socks will be off for good.
