Focus on breath Whenever you begin to feel overwhelmed, place your hands on your belly and take a deep breath in for four seconds as your abdomen expands, then breath out for four seconds, feeling it contract. Repeat 10 times.

Focus on appreciation
Write down five things in your day that usually go unappreciated, and feel grateful. It can be as simple as appreciating the electricity powering the kettle that lets you make a cup of tea.
