The hopping project

For the past three years, Shai Ager from Cairns has been rescuing orphaned wallabies. Looking after more than 1000 hopping friends, Shai says she has the best job in the world cuddling these fellas every day! Once they are big enough to fend for themselves, Shai opens the back gate, and releases them into the bush where they live the rest of their life in peace.
