Dear that’s life!

Our son is getting married and I am nervous as I don’t get on with his fiancée and I feel her family look down on us. My husband is a plumber and I work in aged care whereas her parents have good office jobs and are wealthier than us. I’m very happy for my son but feel he’s punching above his weight and I worry it all might come unstuck. Or if he makes it work, he’ll disappear from our lives. We’ve offered to help with wedding costs but that’s been refused, making me feel even worse.

What do I do?
