that's life (Australia)

My hubby’s her handyman!

Got a problem? Let that’s life! readers help! Here’s what they had to say about this week’s dilemma

- Lyndel Trevena

Red flag

So why is your husband not only working with this woman, but he also goes to her house? He’s spending way too much time with her. And he’s not taking your feelings into consideration, which is a red flag to me.

Sharon Revell

Go with him

Offer to go with him to visit her. If you aren’t welcome with him, then something is going on.

Penny Brennell

Get out!

End the marriage, straight up. He doesn’t even have enough respect to be honest to you, his wife.

Helen Homburg

Invite her over

Invite her around for dinner with her kids. You will be able to tell if there is a connection. She may just be a friend.

Katie Collins

He’s denied it

Give him the benefit of the doubt if he’s denied it. But if he starts to become secretive, I’d check his phone.

Dora Graham

He’s not her handyman

It is not his job to be this other woman’s handyman, especially

if it’s upsetting you. Go with him, but don’t tell him till he’s walking out the door. Maybe have toys for her children.

Follow your gut

This will drive you crazy until you find out the truth. So do whatever you can to find out whether he is or not. Follow your gut.

Rachel Harry

A matter of trust

If you suspect it, then it’s either right or it’s unhealthy for a relationship anyway. No trust... No happiness... Not worth it.

Tanya Smith

Spy on him

Snoop – drive past, park out the front and spy. Use a rental or friend’s car. It’s the only way to get peace of mind.

Tattiana Arnold

Ask the woman

Ask her straight out. It’s not going to be any skin off her nose to admit to an affair if it means she’ll get him all to herself.

Tammy Clark

He might just be nice

Just because he is being nice doesn’t mean he’s having an affair, but I understand the concerns.

Courtney Brunning

Pack his bags

Men do not befriend women. Does this other woman not have male relatives to help her out? Anyway, trust your gut feeling. If he refuses to have you come with him to help, I would have his stuff packed by the time he got back and turfed out on the footpath. Plus, get the locks changed.
