MOUNTAINS OF LOVE

With the COVID-19 pandemic hitting the tourist destination of Nepal hard, the quickly abandoned base camps of the Himalayan peaks were left covered in rubbish. A 47-day hike funded by the Bally Peak Outlook Foundation saw a team of specialist hikers collect around two tonnes of rubbish from the mountain region. By employing locals, the Swiss luxury brand has helped provide critical income to the local communities who rely on tourism.
