Job: A news­reader de­liv­ers a tele­vi­sion or ra­dio news bul­letin or in­tro­duces sto­ries in the bul­letin. They can be em­ployed to de­liver sev­eral bul­letins dur­ing the course of the day or fo­cus on one bul­letin, at any time be­tween 6am and mid­night.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions: A univer­sity me­dia or jour­nal­ism de­gree is re­quired as well as at least two years’ ex­pe­ri­ence as a broad­cast jour­nal­ist.

Av­er­age wage: $100,000 to $250,000
