She is doing a sixmonth course that teaches students skills in baking, from bread making to cake making, and decorating.
She says she enjoys learning about an expanding area of the trade sector.
‘‘Adelaide has never been big on the patisserie side of things,’’ she says.
‘‘So it’s good to be part of bringing the patisserie side of things here.
‘‘I like making food that people remember, like wedding cakes. They’re a big part of people’s lives when they get married.’’
