WORKERS who don’t further their education beyond secondary school are likely to earn $400,000 less over the course of their lives than those with a certificate III or higher.

More workers have gained non-school qualifications in the past decade – up 10 per cent to 57 per cent – and it is estimated threequarters of new jobs in the next five years will call for at least a certificate III.
