TRY not to panic. Don’t do anything rash and wait until the next day before taking any action. Get some perspective on what happened and an objective view from others who were there. Seek advice from your manager or HR about appropriate action. Many embarrassing incidents at end-of-year functions are put down to the spirit of the event and the less said the better. You may need to prepare for a little friendly ribbing from others. If your actions were more serious, consider an apology to affected parties. A little humility and remorse can go a long way to repair your reputation.
