‘‘Some­times we pay too much or buy in the wrong area – if you use a real es­tate agent, they are ex­pe­ri­enced ne­go­tia­tors and they’re not go­ing to let their emo­tions get the bet­ter of them, par­tic­u­larly at auc­tion,’’ Mr Moul­ton says.
