You wouldn’t casually toss it on the table; you certainly wouldn’t forget it is in your pocket. So the challenge for the apartment is to live up to its impressive key.
And, generally speaking, it does. Buxton Manor is a 1908 red brick mansion in beautifully kept grounds, divided into apartments for overnight stays. Musica Viva’s large sitting room was once the games room, its kitchen part of the old ballroom, and its vast bedroom the main sleeping quarters.
