That’s a disgrace. US, 108 min
This is the worst thing Adam Sandler has ever put his name to. And even those with only a passing acquaintance with his work will know that means it must be industrial-strength bad. It’s not the non-stop moronicism that gets you. It’s the racist asides, the misogynistic plotting, and the desperate attempts to find the funny in such non-hilarious topics as incest and teacher-student sex crimes. There will not be a more terrible film in 2012. Or perhaps, this decade.
