COMEDIAN

The Advertiser - SA Weekend - - ARTS SCENE -

Adelaide is… the capital of South Australia. Nailed it! I’ve been asked a lot of media questions in my time but this one seems to be better directed at a Year 7 student… It’s also one of my favourite places to perform, during the Fringe or anytime of the year. When I’m on the road… I quickly get off, because mum taught me not to play on the road. Even my three-year-old son knows that. I can’t go a day without… breathing. I tried it once, didn’t go so well. I passed out and hit my head. Carpentry is… the art of keeping one’s fingers attached to one’s hands. It’s not as easy as it sounds. Walking into a hardware is… tantamount to self harm. If I weren’t a comedian I… would be digging holes I guess. Along with story telling it’s about the only thing I know how to do. My DYI attempt was… a cat run for my cat Cherry. There’s a picture of it in the show. It turned out all right. Harley Breen I Heart Bunnings will perform from August 28-September 7 in various regional centres as part of Country Arts SA’s Shows On The Road program. Tickets $25 each or groups of six or more $22 each. For booking information visit countryarts.org.au
