In his Goodwood home

The Advertiser - SA Weekend - - HEADSPACE -

I’m not afraid to watch a movie and eat nasty chocolate – I’m very much a home, get daggy, get to bed early person because I’m up every day at 4.30am.

I’m a bit of a health fanatic. I’m very much into health and fitness because my workload demands a healthy lifestyle. I find if my diet or exercise regime is out, then I struggle to keep up at work. I’m blending in the morning and I like to have a vegetable juice two to three times a week. I get up early and run or I go to the gym – I’m pretty structured and I find it’s a great hour to clear my head to get ready for the day.

I got married on September 8, 2012. I remember the date because it’s the day before my birthday – I timed it pretty well! Being married has mellowed me quite a bit, I’m maybe not quite as intense as I used to be. I do other stuff besides just work now.

Outside of the obvious work stuff, I enjoy social travel online – I like to research where I want to go socially when I’m away. My best mate lives in Santa Cruz so we’re always catching up on Skype and I have family all over the country so social media is a great way to catch up.

Travel is a huge part of my life. I travel once or twice a month – whether overseas or interstate. I speak at a lot of conferences and sit on advisory boards. I just got back from China with Toopy (Anthony Toop, of Toop & Toop Real Estate) last week.
