PSYCHOS Babe Walker, Simon & Schuster $22.99
If your idea of a good night’s viewing involves The Face, Fashion Police or any of the Real Housewives
shows, Psychos is most definitely up your street.
Embracing all that is flashy and trashy about life in Los Angeles, this is the sequel to Babe Walker’s original novel, White Girl Problems.
Fresh out of rehab after conquering her alleged shopping addiction, Walker is once again ready to make (or should that be fake) it in Hollywood. Her mission is to be “a Babe with goals and aspirations”.
But Babe’s life soon turns into something out of a James Bond movie involving sabotage, robbery and daring helicopter rescues. Complete nonsense but, hey, if it’s good enough for Ian Fleming, there’s no reason it shouldn’t work for Babe Walker.
