THE TRIP TO ITALY 105 MIN (M)

Not much action but lush Italian scenery, over-the-top food and amusing banter. Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon riff off each other in this semi-autobiographical buddy trip.

A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST 114 MIN (MA 15+)

Charlize Theron makes an interesting career choice. It’s funny in places if you’re in the mood. If not, it tends to be sexist, obvious and derivative.

GARDENING WITH SOUL 98 MIN (G)

Nice that there’s a market for this kind of simple but heart-warming film which follows 90-year-old Sister Loyola Galvin around her garden, sharing a lifetime of wisdom.

UNDER THE SKIN 105 MIN (MA 15+)

Not sure I believe that Scarlett Johansson drove around Scotland, picking up strangers and giving them rides. Leaving that aside, it’s a weird sci-fi story of body snatching, with a twist.

THE BABADOOK 95 MIN (M)

It starts off scary, then it gets worse. Is it a psychological tease or full-blown horror? Stick around and find out. Great performances from Essie Davis and Noah Wiseman.
