HEAD TO TOE

JUST BROWSIN’

IT WAS getting to the stage I was growing a slight mono-brow.

My eyebrows looked more like Mt Lofty’s Kuitpo Forest and nothing like model Bambi Northwood-Blyth’s beautiful bushy yet tamed brows. (If you don’t know who I’m going on about here, Google her).

Upon arriving at the Benefit Browbar — conveniently located in Myer — I was told it would be a short wait until the eyebrow specialist was free.

The 30-minute service is suited to the busy city gal as there’s no need to make an appointment.

I sat down and the beautician asked what I’d like done, which was a fuller brow. After “mapping out” my brow shape with an eyeliner pencil, she got plucking, then got out the scissors and snipped some of the longer hairs, showing me what she was doing.

To finish the look, she brushed my brows with Benefit’s gimme brow (a product which makes your brows look fuller) and I was done.

I was happy with the end result and the price tag’s good too. I may look nothing like Bambi (shame), but my eyebrows are thanking me for the visit.
