I have had a grow­ing in­ter­est in hats, not only be­cause of the cli­mate ben­e­fits and pre­cau­tions, but more so to hide my own “hair hat“, which has dwin­dled, re­ceded and slowly van­ished over time. My once-upona-time flow­ing mane gave me op­tions for va­ri­ety of dif­fer­ent looks, but now hats pro­vide the best way to mix up a look, all while pro­vid­ing the warmth or shade that may be re­quired. In the decades from the 1930s to ’60s, men dressed sharp and al­ways wore hats – and it’s a trend that is slowly re-emerg­ing. So I thought best to pass on some hat ad­vice – for you lucky guys with the long thick locks and those of us with­out. My dome-hid­ing list of hats, which cov­ers off all oc­ca­sions and all cli­mate con­di­tions, is as fol­lows:
