HAVE A HEART

I dread seeing the number in the red circle at the bottom of Simon Wilkinson’s weekly restaurant review. I feel compelled to sidestep the restaurants scoring in the 80+ range and rush to those scoring under 60!

Simon can carve up his meal into subheadings but he can’t score the feeling of being there, nor the passion and hard work the owners pour into their dreams.

That number could be the breaking point in an already overcrowded and competitive Adelaide market. Simon, I score you a generous 4/10 for heart!

HIS WORD, HIS BOND

After seeing our Nick Xenophon bobbing up from the water in SAWeekend (November 21-22), I think he might develop a new career. He displayed a very James Bond-like expression as he rose from the river. A film star in the making?

NO MAMMOTH IVORY

Re your mammoth tusks article (Nov 2122): mammoths should lie in peace. Wiping out poachers is the only solution to protecting elephants.
