host, Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello, takes a break from the road to share his favourite – and not so favourite – music memories.
Robbie Williams at AAMI Stadium, he was amazing! I’d never even really listened to him at all and only went to the concert cause I was working for SAFM at the time. Right from the start he smashed it. I loved his local references throughout the night talking about his time in Adelaide.
Garth Brooks – Friends in Low Places. I sung it once on stage on a footy trip in Mildura and fell off the stage. Even though I was very bruised I jumped back up and sang the rest. It was actually at a function filled with over 65 year olds, we were only there cause they had $3 vodkas.
LEAD SINGER/ BAND MEMBER I’D LIKE TO BE FOR A DAY:
I wouldn’t mind stepping into Tim McGraw’s shoes for a day.. Have you seen his wife Faith Hill?
MOST EMBARRASSING SONG ON MY PLAYLIST:
My car CD player is filled with The Fairies, The Wiggles and more! Having little kids is great cause you get to play those catchy little songs that stick in your head the whole day.
CURRENT SONG I CAN’T GET OUT OF MY HEAD:
There is a cracking song by Tom Odell called Grow Old with Me. It was my mate’s wedding song we attended in England a month ago. It’s the best wedding song ever. In fact I like it so much I’m considering splitting up with my wife so I can re-marry and have it as my wedding song.
SONG I WANT PLAYED AT MY FUNERAL:
I would like a song played called Live Like You Are Dying by Tim McGraw. It’s all about how we should live our lives more while we can and enjoy every minute.
FINISH THIS SENTENCE. MUSIC IS…
