Switchboard company will call Adelaide home

A national business headquartered in Melbourne is on its way to the Adelaide suburbs in a deal wrapped up last month.

The M.V. Manufacturing Group, which makes commercial switchboards, has taken on an office warehouse of 1700 sqm in Pooraka from landlord Khor Ltd, on a 3+3+3 lease for a net rental of $162,000.

JLL’s associate director of industrial services, David Ludlow, who negotiated the deal, said the property was vacant for less than a month before the lease was signed. “This is a quality manufacturing facility in a functioning business park environment,” he said. “The tenant was attracted to the high clearance improvements, quality finishes, gantry crane and wash bay.”
