Miner board in disarray

-

HALF of Energy Resources of Australia’s board has quit after the uranium miner shelved the expansion of its Ranger mine in the Northern Territory.

Chairman Peter McMahon and independent non-executive directors Helen Garnett and David Smith resigned on Saturday, leaving just three members on the board.

ERA recently decided its proposed underground mine at Ranger will not proceed due to a sluggish uranium market.
