was a tri­umphant re­turn home for co­me­dian Amos Gill as he opened for worl­drenowned fun­ny­man Jim Jef­feries, to­gether in­set right, at the Adelaide En­ter­tain­ment Cen­tre this week. A month af­ter per­form­ing at New York’s famed Madi­son Square Gar­den, for­mer hit107 brekkie host Amos was back in front of fam­ily and friends friends, in in­clud­ing l di Crow Rory Atkins, at a packed arena he used to visit all the time. “The first concert I ever saw was Lil Jon and 50 Cent C in this arena. I was 12 and my mum was con­cerned about the pro­fan­ity I was go­ing to hear. Last night, I was the pro­fan­ity,” Amos jokes. “We’ve been on tour all over A Amer­ica, Madi­son Square Gar­den was huge but this was the spe­cial one.” Now based in the US, Amos in­tro­duced Rory to Jim back­stage af­ter the gig, right. Af­ter this Aussie tour, Amos will re­turn to the US for pilot sea­son be­fore fly­ing home for Adelaide Fringe, with new show Al­most Famos, at the Rhino Room.
