Pair charged with bribery

TWO Ade­laide men have been charged with bribery of­fences after an in­ves­ti­ga­tion by the anti-cor­rup­tion watch­dog ICAC.

A 64-year-old pub­lic of­fi­cer from Mod­bury Heights and a 25-year-old from North­gate were both ar­rested on De­cem­ber 3.

The al­leged of­fences oc­curred be­tween Sep­tem­ber 5 and De­cem­ber 1, 2018.

The pub­lic of­fi­cer, whose name has not been re­leased, was charged with two counts of bribery.

The man, 25, was charged with two counts of bribery in re­la­tion to the charges laid against the older man.

Both have been bailed to ap­pear in the Ade­laide Mag­is­trates Court on Jan­uary 16.
