Youth gang ransacks Myer mall
A GROUP of four teenagers aged as young as 12 has staged an audacious break-in of the Myer Centre in Rundle Mall, stealing clothes and cash before fleeing on scooters and bikes.
Security officers found a side door of the shopping mall had been jemmied open just before 2.30am yesterday.
Police found cashier tills at several food outlets and other stores had been fleeced, with cashier tills and clothes stolen.
CCTV footage revealed four suspects on scooters and a bicycle entered the centre, before they fled wearing stolen clothes from one of the stores.
The suspects were described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged between 12 and 15. They were last seen wearing bright yellow, orange and red Champion hooded jumpers and baseball caps.
