Six times limit with child in car
A DISQUALIFIED driver has blown six times the legal blood alcohol limit with a child in the car.
About 3.15pm on Saturday, a woman recorded a reading of 0.302 on St Andrews Tce in Port Lincoln.
She was reported for drink driving, driving while unlicensed and disorderly behaviour, and will appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
The 43-year-old was also issued with an additional 12 month loss of licence and had her car impounded for 28 days.
Police plan to notify the Department for Child Protection.
In another incident, two men were arrested after allegedly trying to hide from police following a brief pursuit in the northern suburbs.
A Salisbury Plain man, 24, and a Greenacres man, 18, were charged with illegal use.
